Right to a decent home: Measuring progress

As part of the Housing Inquiry, the Human Rights Commission developed a tool called Measuring Progress to evaluate progress in relation to the right to a decent home and in the context of te Tiriti o Waitangi. We have measured progress across seven ‘decency’ principles outlined by the United Nations. Measuring progress on these decency principles will tell us whether the right to a decent home grounded on te Tiriti o Waitangi is being respected or not.
